OUR STORY
Illumine Advisory supports organizations working through complexity — whether that means growth strategy, stakeholder alignment, public affairs, investment positioning, governance decisions, or major initiatives. The work is often cross-sector, politically sensitive, or operationally complex. ABOUT DANIELLE
Danielle Vlemmiks is the founder and principal of Illumine Advisory. She sees where ideas will land beyond the room they start in, and builds the systems and relationships to get them there.
Her career spans geoscience and GIS, B2B technology, commercial construction and project management, and owning an event planning business, followed by the past 15 years in tourism and destination development, including senior roles at Destination Canada and Travel Alberta. That range gives her an unusual ability to see structure, anticipate implications, and translate between the people who plan, fund, regulate and live with major initiatives.
Much of her best work never makes the news: the issue resolved before it became a crisis, the project delivered despite real obstacles, the reputation that held. She does it through early planning and relationship-building with governments, investors, communities and industry, so organizations can focus on their work instead of managing fallout.
She has also taught strategic communication and investor relations at Mount Royal University.
Danielle is currently Chief Corporate Development and Strategy Officer at Ridge North America and serves on the board of American Chamber of Commerce in Canada West.
